My Story
Pamela Dowell, a farm gal from Iowa, USA, has always had a deep love for the outdoors and beautiful skyline scenes. Her passion for crafting and design has led her to establish Crafts Unique & Creative Design, a business that specializes in handmade crafts and computer-related designs. With two decades of experience, Pamela has created a unique series of nine books called "Saucey's Adventure," featuring a unicorn named Saucey and his sidekick Buttercup. With real pictures of insects, beautiful skyline views, and real flowers, each book is a learning adventure that children across the world can enjoy. Pamela's books are not just a source of entertainment; they are a source of education too. By learning about real insects in hide-and-seek books, children can broaden their knowledge and appreciation of nature. Melody Manley is a 22-year-old girl from southeast Iowa. She's an illustrator and social work student at the University of South Dakota. Passionate about both creativity and advocacy, she uses her art to explore themes of resiliency, education, and connections. As she works toward her bachelor’s degree in social work, she hopes to merge her artistic talents with her dedication to helping others.
Melody is also the illustrator of all the hand-drawn characters of Saucey Adventure, bringing her unique style and vision to life. Each character begins as a meticulously hand-drawn sketch before being transformed into vibrant drawings. Her ability to infuse personality and emotion into her drawings ensures that every character resonates with audiences, making them unforgettable parts of the Saucey's Adventure. Each of these animals are a main part of the book.
